Remedy is a four piece band that, besides playing songs off of their debut album “Slave to the Song,” focuses on playing today’s most popular music mixed with the classics of yesterday.
Remedy is one of the few bands that boasts of amazing vocal abilities to match its musical expertise. With a combined 30 years of experience playing for live audiences, the band is filled with familiar faces to the Ohio music scene.
Vocalist Shawn Theis and bassist Todd Schlaegel were in the classic rock band Orion, playing many of central Ohio’s favorite watering holes. John Widner played for many years as the lead guitarist for one of Columbus Ohio’s most popular bands, the Bellows, and Danny Boyd has laid down the beats for the likes of MCA recording artists Spittin’ Image as well as Grudge recording artists The Godz.
As you can see, the band is filled with veteran ability, and if you’ve seen the band you know first hand the charismatic trance they put you in from the moment they hit the stage. Traveling with their own 10,000 watt professional PA system, the band can play for any size venue, large or small, at a moment’s notice.
